Why do you volunteer, and what keeps you going?

Hi everyone! I've been taking conversations for a while now, but I still often overthink and struggle with responses. I don't like leaving people waiting for a response, but sometimes I find myself really struggling and feeling like I'm simply throwing something together instead of leaving them with nothing.

What do you all do when you feel stuck on how to respond to a texter?
